As the exclusive GCC delivery partner for the Non-Executive Directors’ Association (NEDA), we prepare directors for governance roles through structured development and immersive board simulations.

In partnership with NEDA, Emile Woolf Middle East delivers accredited governance programmes across the GCC, fully localised for the Gulf. Participants choose between two complementary tracks: a foundational governance qualification and a live boardroom simulation.
A structured governance qualification for GCC non-executive directors, in which every governance framework is taught through a real case. Cases run from beginning to end, so that the law and the codes are learned in the context of actual board decisions and their consequences.
A two-day immersive simulation in which participants take on director roles at a fictional GCC-listed conglomerate. A governance crisis unfolds across the programme. Participants receive the same information a real board would receive. There is no script and no right answer handed to them.
Participants join a professional community – with access to the NED Handbook (6th Edition), ongoing development resources, and a network of board members who share the same commitment to governance excellence.
Directors in their first 1–2 board years who need to understand their legal obligations and build foundational knowledge.
Organisations running board evaluations. The certificate builds knowledge; the simulation reveals real dynamics.
Seasoned members looking to sharpen instincts, stress-test decision-making, and experience governance pressure.
National institutes and regulatory bodies requiring accredited NED training grounded in GCC law with formal certification.
In-house leadership programmes preparing board-ready executives; certificate for foundations; simulation for application.
Enterprises transitioning to professionally governed boards. Surfaces family dynamics, dual roles, and the courage to challenge.

NEDA is the Non-Executive Directors' Association, a global professional body for board directors, trusted by leading global organisations. It means directors here learn against an international standard, applied to the regulatory realities they actually operate in.
Two. The NED Certificate Programme is a structured governance qualification, where board law, codes, and director duties are taught through real cases. The Boardroom Challenge is a live simulation, where directors take their judgement into a governance crisis as it unfolds. One builds the foundation. The other tests it under pressure.
Most organisations start with the NED Certificate Programme to establish a shared governance foundation, then use the Boardroom Challenge to pressure-test it. Experienced boards sometimes commission the Boardroom Challenge on its own as a standalone intervention. We help you decide based on the experience level of your directors and what you are trying to achieve.
Non-executive directors, board members, and senior executives preparing for board roles across the GCC. The programmes suit directors new to the boardroom who need a governance foundation, as well as experienced board members sharpening their judgement and challenge under pressure.
