THE OPPORTUNITY

High-Performing Women. One Transition Away From Partner.

EY, a global leader in professional services, aimed to strengthen the trajectory of female senior directors toward future partner roles within the UAE audit function. These were high-performing professionals already operating at a senior level, with the technical credibility to make partner. What they needed was the leadership identity to go with it.

The challenge was format. Heavy commercial pressures in the audit environment made multi-day or multi-month cohort programmes unrealistic. The development had to be high-impact and condensed, delivering the depth of a longer journey without demanding time the business could not afford to give.

The brief was precise: a single day. The same cognitive and developmental arc as a multi-module programme, compressed without compromise.

THE SOLUTION

A Masterclass That Delivered the Arc of a Multi-Module Journey

Emile Woolf Middle East designed and delivered a one-day Senior Leadership Intensive for EY’s partner-track women in the UAE audit function. Four modules, built as a progressive arc from leadership identity to practical commitment, facilitated with real EY scenarios and peer dialogue throughout.

Strategic Identity and Brand

Clarifying partner-level perception and personal leadership identity to align with firm-wide expectations.

Advanced Influence Tools

Practical frameworks for navigating complex audit environments and managing cross-partner stakeholder dynamics.

Resilience and Emotional Agility

Developing partner-level coping mechanisms to sustain impact under commercial and regulatory pressures.

Contextual Peer Dialogue

Utilising real EY scenarios and micro-coaching to anchor learning in the specific realities of the audit function.

THE PROGRAMME STRUCTURE

From Identity to Commitment

Module 1

Identity and Purpose

Opening session to define leadership values and the transition to senior-level stewardship. Who am I as a partner-track leader, and what do I stand for?

Module 2

Perception vs. Reality

Deep-dive into personal branding, executive presence, and managing how one is perceived at the partner level.

Module 3

Influence & Authenticity

Strategies for leading with courage, speaking up powerfully, and communicating with authentic authority.

Module 4

Resilience and Commitments

Building emotional agility followed by an action-planning session for next-level leadership commitments. The day closes with clear personal commitments, not just reflection.

THE IMPACT: The Women Who Were Already Ready. Now They Knew It.

The programme strengthened partner readiness, building leadership confidence, influence, and executive presence among senior women in EY’s UAE audit function. Participants formed trusted peer networks while EY reinforced its commitment to a diverse, future-ready partner pipeline. The one-day masterclass demonstrated the ability to deliver concise, high-impact leadership development for professional services environments where time is the primary constraint.
