Frequently Asked Questions

How is Emile Woolf Middle East different from other L&D providers in the region?

We’re a boutique enterprise learning partner that designs every programme around your strategy, starting with your organisation’s challenges, culture, and leadership context. That’s why clients like Deloitte, EY, and ADQ choose us over larger providers.

Do you offer off-the-shelf programmes?

No. Every engagement is bespoke. We begin with a discovery conversation, then design a programme around your specific governance, leadership, or capability goals.

What is NEDA and why does accreditation matter?

The Non-Executive Directors’ Association (NEDA) is the global professional body for Non-Executive Directors, trusted by the London Stock Exchange Group, the BBC, and the ICAEW. Emile Woolf Middle East is NEDA’s exclusive GCC delivery partner for accredited governance programmes.

Who are your programmes designed for?

Our clients are typically mid-to-large organisations across the GCC: sovereign wealth funds, government entities, energy groups, financial institutions, and professional services firms. Within those organisations, we work with CHROs, L&D directors, and C-suite leaders who are responsible for building leadership and governance capability.

How are your programmes localised for the GCC?

Our facilitators have led L&D and governance work inside GCC enterprises. Our content reflects the local operating environment: UAE Corporate Governance Code, Saudi CMA regulations, family business dynamics, and nationalisation requirements across the GCC.

What does a typical engagement look like?

It begins with a discovery conversation, usually 30 to 45 minutes. We then propose a tailored approach covering programme design, delivery format, facilitators, and measurement. Engagements are typically delivered in-person, with pre-work and post-programme reinforcement built in.

Do you deliver across the GCC or only in the UAE?

We deliver across all six GCC countries: the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman. Our base is Abu Dhabi, with regular delivery in Dubai, Riyadh, Doha, and Manama. Our NED Certificate Programme is also available online.

How do we get started?
